My Story
I’m Lisa Brooksbank, owner of Current Edge Bookkeeping. My 25-year journey in bookkeeping began through running my own businesses in service, retail and residential care. Managing the books in each of these ventures gave me firsthand insight into how vital accurate, organized financial records are for a business to succeed.
Over time, I realized that bookkeeping wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was something I had a natural talent for. What began as an interest grew into a passion, and I chose to turn that passion into a profession. My goal has been and is to help business owners feel confident and in control of their numbers, giving them the clarity they need to make informed decisions. I’ve been fortunate to work with clients across many industries, including construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and property management.
